Dr Hà graduated from Pham Ngoc Thach Medical University in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam as a medical doctor. Since then, she has been working at Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital (PNTH) for more than ten years as a senior supervisor in the microbiology laboratory, the major tuberculosis (TB) reference laboratory for Southern Vietnam.
In 2011, she completed her PhD at the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit, Ho Chi Minh City and continued her work at PNTH as the Head of Quality Control of the PNTH Microbiology Laboratory.
Currently, she has been appointed as the head of Planning Department of PNTH and also in charge of all clinical research studies conducted at PNTH. She participated in some clinical research studies in collaboration with The Union, USAID, MRC-UK, ANRS, OUCRU-Wellcome Trust, FIND… In addition, she has been involved in teaching the 5th year medical students about microbiological methodology for tuberculosis diagnosis for more than 5 years.
